Zanda lived most of her childhood years in Old Lyme, Connecticut—a small coastal town known for its thriving art community. At a young age, she joined the Armed Forces where she attended night school and earned an Associate in Liberal Arts degree, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Marketing degree.
Feeling restless and unfulfilled, she continued to search for happiness through relocating and pursuing new jobs and studies such as corporate office work, chiropractic assistant, waitressing, massage therapy school, and others.
Still feeling unfulfilled, and now frustrated, too, she decided to take yet another journey; this time, though, she traveled inward and discovered a vast, unexplored richness where, for the first time, she felt at home.
As a result, Zanda has become passionate about exploring her inner wisdom and how to blend that wisdom with practical life experiences. In sharing her journey with others—from the very basics of feeling insecure to attaining powerful results—she has discovered others find her stories relatable, empowering, and inspirational toward beginning or deepening their personal journey into self-exploration and inner wisdom.
Zanda currently lives in Maine with her loving and supportive husband, and their dogs who provide inspiration for her children’s books: Doggie Wisdom Series. During the winter months, Zanda explores creating art prints from visions she writes about in her books. When warmer weather returns, she enjoys spending time photographing beautiful scenes that evoke a sense of peace, curiosity, and appreciation for nature. Her subjects vary from coastlines, lakes, and rivers; to fields of wildflowers, wild and domestic animals; and even elusive orbs and more!
